Setting out his maiden journey in business as Mr. Jahangir & Others in 1987, Mohammed Jahangir Alam crowned many successes as a pioneering industrialist of the nation. He cruised through many ventures turning every step into a success. A graduate of the eighties from Chittagong Commerce College, Mr. Alam started his career in private service in 1980. Being a visionary, he later founded Jahangir & Others through which he opened up a new era in entrepreneurship that also earned him the credentials of one of the top business pioneers in Bangladesh. He was appointed as Chairman of M. I. Cement Factory Limited, Crown Power Generation Limited, Crown Polymer Bagging Limited, Crown Mariners Limited, and Crown Transportation & Logistics Limited. He is the Managing Director of GPH Ispat Limited, GPH Power Generation Limited, Indo Steel Re-Rolling Industries Limited, Jahangir & Others Limited, and Chittagong Capital Limited. He is also the Director of Premier Cement Mills Limited, Premier Power Generation Limited, Asia Insurance Ltd., and Chartered Life Insurance Ltd.

Setting his foot in entrepreneurship, he established P2P Family where he brought together construction-related services under one roof with the motto ‘Plan to Perfection’-a startup no one thought of before. He floated the idea of a comprehensive solution in construction combining high-end technology, design, and the country's most talented architects to meet the aspiration of the clients. Pursuing his B.Sc. from CSE as well as completing his M.B.A degree, Mr. Alvi was seeking to bring world-class services to the doorsteps of the nation. With robust and visionary leadership, Mr. Alvi is steering the P2P family to a new height of success covering every aspect of modern living. He is determined to usher in a better tomorrow for the welfare of the nation.
